Ghanaian artiste and key contender to the Artiste of the Year award, King Promise has congratulated Stonebwoy on winning Artiste of the Year along with six other honors.
King Promise also took home three awards at the just-ended Ghana Music Awards over the weekend.
King Promise had shown himself to be appropriate, poised and composed and has high hopes of winning the award.
He had said in some interviews that he would be shocked to lose the award to any other artiste.
Many, including Efia Odo and a few celebrities, were supporting him to clinch the prestigious award but it turned out unfortunate as Stonebwoy’s efforts from the year under review won him the award.
Regardless, King Promise has reached out to congratulated Stonebwoy for beating him to it. He took to X, formerly Twitter, to extend his kind gesture.
Some industry players and music enthusiasts have lauded him for the move, on the digital platform.
In another tweet, King Promise thanked his fans for the ultimate support and urged them to prepare for his new album, True to Self, in two weeks time.
